Physicist/Radiation Safety Specialist

LMI is seeking a Physicist/Radiation Safety Specialist to support our DHS client. This is a part-time, on-site position in the New York City area. You must be a U.S. citizen.

Lead conformance testing for personal radiation detection devices
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures for testing radiation detection devices
• Potentially perform radiation safety officer (RSO) duties, as necessary

• Masters degree or higher in an applicable discipline
• Understanding of conformance testing and calibration of radiation detection equipment
• Strong team player with customer-focused attitude
• Ability to pass a DHS background investigation

Target salary range: $120,000 - $200,000
