Job Summary

Join BWH Primary Care Associates - Longwood and help create a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and clinical teams. In this highly visible role, you'll combine strong administrative skills, sound judgment, and advanced system knowledge to keep a busy practice running efficiently.

Location: 800 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA (Mass Eye and Ear Building)

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, day shift, onsite

Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour, with increases based on years of experience

Qualifications

What You'll Do
  • Support efficient daily clinical and practice operations.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and perform scheduling, check-in, and check-out duties at an advanced proficiency level.
  • Assist callers, respond to routine questions, and triage more complex matters appropriately.
  • Process billing forms and scan documents into the patient medical record in EPIC.
  • Serve as a Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems, providing assistance and training to colleagues.
  • Handle specialized functions such as surgical scheduling, schedule changes, and blocking, as assigned.
  • Screen and route messages concerning prior authorizations, provider questions, prescription refills, and test results.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of office experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of office operations and procedures, including filing, copying, scanning, printing, and faxing.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, accurate message-taking, and strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow established protocols, and resolve routine issues.
