Job Summary




The Program Support Administrator (PSA) will provide direct support to the Program Director in executing day-to-day program activities and assist in monitoring and tracking program schedule, cost, and scope. The PSA will interact with all stakeholders involved in the program, internal and external, to track activities and provide feedback to the Program Director.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities





  • Assists in program planning and execution
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other departments to ensure implementation of program initiatives
  • Organizes and conducts meetings with internal and external customers/stakeholders
  • Participates in program reviews and planning meetings
  • Creates and maintains multiple tracking tools (spreadsheets) for various aspects of the program
  • Prioritizes and tracks detailed plans to meet competing deadlines for multiple projects with varying requirements
  • Performs minor administrative support and takes notes/actions during meetings
  • Understands program technical details and assists in uncovering and assessing risks

Education and Experience





  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of project management support experience.
  • Current CAPM (PMI) certification preferred.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience entering data and navigating database systems.
  • Must be able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with MRP systems a plus.

Work Environment and Limited Manufacturing-Floor Exposure




This role is primarily performed in an office or other non-manufacturing-floor work environment. As part of performing job duties, the employee may occasionally be required to:



  • Enter or walk through the manufacturing floor to access work areas, meet with employees, inspect or observe operations, or retrieve information or materials.
  • Work around equipment, machinery, and other industrial activity during these occasional visits.
  • Walk on uneven or potentially wet surfaces.
  • Experience limited or intermittent exposure to manufacturing-related noise, dust, gases, fumes, odors, humidity, temperature variations, and chemicals, such as paint, solvents, coatings, or fiberglass.
  • Follow all applicable manufacturing-floor safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, or other protective equipment, when entering or working in designated areas.


The employee is not regularly assigned to perform work on the manufacturing floor, and routine or prolonged exposure to manufacturing-floor conditions is not expected.




Physical Requirements





  • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Sit, stand, and walk frequently.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, and reach occasionally.
  • Use hands and arms frequently, including gripping and grasping.
  • Talk and listen frequently.
  • Use a computer, monitor, telephone, and other office or business equipment frequently.
  • Walk through or briefly remain in manufacturing-floor areas occasionally, as required by the position.
