JOB SUMMARY: The Lead, Project Management leads complex operational, technology, client, and enterprise projects from initiation through implementation and closure. This role develops project plans and governance, coordinates cross-functional teams, manages risks and dependencies, communicates outcomes, and drives process improvements that support business objectives and customer needs. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead multiple complex, high-profile, or cross-functional projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, transition, and closure, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives. * Define and validate project scope, requirements, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, roles, resource needs, schedules, costs, and success measures in partnership with business, technology, operational, and client stakeholders. * Develop, execute, and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, timelines, workflows, decision logs, meeting records, status reports, and other documentation required for effective governance and delivery. * Monitor project performance and proactively manage changes to scope, schedule, resources, costs, quality, and functionality; identify, assess, mitigate, track, and escalate risks, issues, defects, and roadblocks. * Facilitate project, working-team, and stakeholder meetings; communicate decisions, impacts, responsibilities, next steps, and performance updates clearly to internal leaders, external clients, and cross-functional teams. * Coordinate work across Operations, Information Technology, Project Management, Account Management, and other functions; delegate tasks to appropriate contributors and ensure dependencies and deliverables are completed on time. * Analyze current processes, workflows, systems, and customer experiences to identify improvement opportunities and recommend efficient, scalable solutions that balance business needs with technical considerations. * Apply project management and continuous improvement methodologies appropriate to each initiative, including Agile, Waterfall, iterative, software development lifecycle, and process-improvement practices. * Serve as a subject matter resource and mentor to less experienced project professionals, sharing effective project practices, tools, documentation standards, and problem-solving approaches. * Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. * Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within. * Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data, this role is considered to be a High-Risk Role. * The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. JOB SCOPE: The incumbent works under minimal direction and exercises independent judgment in leading varied, complex, and sometimes broadly defined projects. Decisions and recommendations affect operational performance, technology delivery, client experience, project cost, timelines, resource commitments, and business outcomes. The role works with internal and external stakeholders, balances business and technical needs, and escalates matters with significant organizational, customer, financial, or compliance implications. The incumbent may lead project teams without direct supervisory authority and may mentor less experienced team members. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $130-150K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity. JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training): * Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Operations, or a related field, or four years of related experience in lieu of the degree; graduate degree preferred. * Minimum seven years of experience in project management, preferably within a fast-paced business, operations, healthcare, or technology environment. * Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous operational, corporate, client, or technology projects that are complex, cross-functional, and not always clearly defined. * Knowledge of project management and requirements practices, risk and change management, software development lifecycle processes, and Agile, Waterfall, and iterative methodologies. * Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization; Six Sigma certification preferred. * Knowledge of healthcare operations, claims processing, managed care, or related workflows preferred. * Excellent project management, analytical, organizational, planning, prioritization, facilitation, critical-thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to build collaborative relationships across all organizational levels, facilitate teams and client relationships, anticipate business needs, and present information effectively to internal and external stakeholders. * Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Project Server or comparable project management tools, Microsoft Office, and software and peripherals used to perform job responsibilities. * PMP or other relevant project management certification preferred; required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable. * Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone. #LI-AW1 Why Claritev?
