Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. Our core competencies include machining and rubber-to-metal bonding, and we hold multiple industry and aerospace customer certifications, including AS9100 and NADCAP.

Position Summary

Responsible for working with Maintenance Technicians and Operations to provide maintenance support to our facility and equipment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintains the machine tool coolant system including checking coolant levels and concentrations, required service, PM's and machine cleanout and disposal
  • Performs required PM's on assigned facility and safety equipment
  • Responsible for transport of machining chip bins to support efficient operations
  • Performs general maintenance and repair of facility and equipment
  • Maintains facility recycling programs for cardboard and metals and supports waste drum disposal process
  • Provides custodial maintenance of facility and restrooms as required
  • Provides assistance to maintenance specialists as needed
  • Completion of maintenance related facilities assignments and projects
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Other assignments as required
  • At least 1 year of experience in general facility, custodial or maintenance support role. 3-5 years preferred.
  • Prior forklift experience and ability to obtain forklift license

  • Willing to work 1st shift hours of 6:00am - 2:00pm

  • Able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork

  • Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook

  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
