This position serves as a senior member of the asset allocation team within the Capital Management Group (CMG). Conducts quantitative and fundamental research to support capital market assumptions, strategic asset allocation decisions, and multi-asset portfolio construction. Contributes to the development of CMG investment views across public and private asset classes and helps communicate those views to wealth partners, clients, and internal stakeholders. Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced investment professionals while supporting the continued evolution of the asset allocation process. Supports investment committees, model governance activities, and strategic business initiatives through rigorous investment analysis, collaboration, and effective communication.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Asset Allocation Research - Conducts quantitative and fundamental research supporting capital market expectations, strategic asset allocation decisions, and portfolio construction. Develops and maintains analytical models used to evaluate expected returns, risks, correlations, and diversification benefits across public and private asset classes. Works collaboratively with other investment professionals to develop and refine CMG's investment outlook and portfolio recommendations.

Performance Reporting & Attribution - Produces daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reporting, attribution analysis, and investment communications. Interprets portfolio and market data to identify performance drivers, portfolio risks, and investment trends. Communicates findings effectively to investment professionals, wealth advisors, and other stakeholders through written and verbal presentations.

Business Support - Partners with wealth advisors, institutional partners, and other business units to deliver custom asset allocation analysis, client-specific portfolio solutions, investment insights, and performance reviews. Supports sales, relationship management, and educational initiatives through timely and accurate investment analysis and portfolio recommendations.

Portfolio & Model Management - Maintains asset allocation models and portfolio strategies within portfolio accounting, performance reporting, and trading systems. Ensures model accuracy, consistency, and adherence to approved investment policies and guidelines. Supports implementation of allocation changes and continuously monitors portfolio positioning, exposures, and risk characteristics.

Governance & Compliance Support - Supports investment committee activities, model governance, model risk management, and regulatory compliance processes. Prepares investment committee materials, maintains investment process documentation, and ensures supporting analysis is accurate, complete, and consistent with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience in Asset allocation, investment research, portfolio construction, or related investment analysis

OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 10 years' experience in Asset allocation, investment research, portfolio construction, or related investment analysis

Preferred Area of Study: Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative discipline
Preferred Licenses or Certifications: Advanced degree and/or CFA Charterholder


Additional Information

The base pay for this position is generally between $100,000 and $165,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
