We are seeking an Depot Parts Technician (21410) who will support depot maintenance and repair operations by receiving, organizing, pulling, and delivering parts and materials needed by technicians. This position ensures parts are accurately identified, properly documented, and available to support scheduled work. Responsibilities include processing pick tickets, maintaining inventory records, completing material handling paperwork, and coordinating with others to resolve shortages or discrepancies.

This role requires in-person support.

Duties:



  • Pull parts and materials from designated storage locations using pick tickets, work orders, and material requests.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and applicable serial or lot numbers against supporting documentation.
  • Assemble and label parts kits for scheduled maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Deliver parts to designated technicians, workstations, or staging areas and document material transfers.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify shipments against packing slips, and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items.
  • Complete and maintain pick tickets, issue and return records, receiving documents, and other required paperwork.
  • Enter receipts, issues, returns, and location changes into inventory tracking systems.
  • Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts, reconcile records, and assist with researching discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.
  • Process unused parts for return to stock and segregate damaged, unserviceable, or unidentified materials according to established procedures.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and follow applicable safety, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and material handling requirements.
  • Coordinate with technicians, supply personnel, and supervisors to support work priorities and timely parts availability.


Required Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.


Required Experience:



  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of spreadsheets or inventory tracking systems.
  • Ability to perform routine material handling tasks and move parts safely using appropriate equipment


Desired Experience:



  • Experience in a depot, stockroom, warehouse, maintenance, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, repair parts, and technical part-number identification.
  • Experience supporting property accountability or inventory control.


This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination. As such Under the SCA selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
