The BMA is seeking a full-time Manager, Audience Insights and Data Analyst to support the collection and understanding of data around BMA audiences and experiences. Recently ranked by the Washington Post as one of the top 20 museums in the United States, the Baltimore Museum of Art is an internationally renowned museum with the world's largest public collection of works by Henri Matisse. In the upcoming years, the work of the BMA will be guided and shaped by four strategic priorities: (1) Interweaving global and local histories; (2) Building a more artist-centered institution; (3) Deepening our commitment to education in all its forms; and (4) Developing greater community partnerships. The Manager, Audience Insights and Data Analyst is a hands-on role involved in building our reporting frameworks, delivering data-driven insights, and supporting the evaluation and data needs of various departments across the museum. This role supports data collection, reporting, and communication of findings for BMA efforts spanning visitor experience, fundraising, evaluation, finance and operations, and marketing and communications. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track marketing and communications program performance, visitor data, audience insights, fundraising trends, and more. Analyze datasets from CRM, donor databases, digital platforms, and program outcomes to identify actionable insights. Collect, clean, and analyze data on a variety of initiatives and projects. Reconcile data across platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency. Respond quickly and thoroughly to ad hoc analytics requests from various departments. Support the development and implementation of long-term data management best practices and systems. Ensure data accuracy and integrity. Work in close partnership with team members across Education, Advancement, Marketing and Communications, and Finance and Operations to understand data needs and develop effective data collection strategies. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer
REQUIREMENTS Three to five years of experience in data analytics, consumer insights, market research, and/or visitor studies.
