Schedule: Monday - Friday 700 AM - 3:30 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in quality assurance, manufacturing, machining, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and quality inspection standards.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working within an AS9100 quality management system.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and inspection reports.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows.
  • Experience with CMM inspection and CAD systems is a plus.
  • Strong documentation, typing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced job shop environment.


Physical Capabilities

  • Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections throughout the shift.
  • Sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the production facility as needed.
  • Handle inspection tools, measuring equipment, and documentation accurately.
  • Maintain focus and attention to detail while inspecting aerospace components.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all quality and safety standards.


Job Duties

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace components and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
  • Measure parts using precision inspection equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Record inspection results on routers, quality reports, and AS9102 documentation.
  • Verify that products meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements before shipment.
  • Review incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials and quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support a high-volume aerospace job shop by maintaining inspection flow and meeting production deadlines.
