Overview:

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. The MRO Planner coordinates and schedules maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities to ensure efficient operations, timely completion of work, and optimal utilization of resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance work to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordination: Work closely with maintenance staff, production teams, and other departments to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
  • Inventory and Resource Management: Monitor usage and optimize resource allocation to reduce waste.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing repair orders, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with vendors regarding order status, shipment details, and scheduling.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Maintain maintenance records, analyze data to identify trends, and prepare reports to support decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Compliance: Curate maintenance records on critical assets and maintain them for the purposes of internal and external audits

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of maintenance processes, equipment, and repair procedures.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and coordinate multiple activities efficiently
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and MS Office for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with maintenance teams, vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements to maintenance operations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in scheduling, parts management, and compliance with standards.
