Position Title: Quality Inspector
Wage: $25.00-$32.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure the quality and conformance of purchased and manufactured components. This position will play an important role in inspection processes, identifying defects, documenting non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Inspector will work closely with Quality, Engineering, Assembly, and vendors to maintain high-quality standards. Don't miss this direct hire opportunity in Hartland, WI. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform inspections on incoming materials and in-house manufactured components to verify quality and conformance to specifications - Create and maintain inspection programs using the Keyence IM system - Identify, document, and communicate defective parts and non-conformance issues - Review inspection results and communicate quality concerns to the appropriate teams - Recommend drawing or specification updates to Engineering and Assembly based on inspection findings - Maintain effective working relationships with vendors and communicate quality concerns, inspection findings, and drawing revisions as needed - Support Quality and continuous improvement initiatives - Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation Quality Inspector Requirements: - Previous experience in quality inspection or a similar manufacturing role - Experience using dimensional inspection tools and equipment - Familiarity with Keyence IM or similar automated measurement systems preferred - Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with Engineering, Assembly, Quality, and vendors - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Effective problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality - Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a cross-functional team IND022 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
