Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee daily operations for a growing portfolio of commercial properties. This role manages tenants, leases, vendors, maintenance, budgets, financial reporting, compliance, and the transition from third-party to in-house property management.


What You'll Do



  • Oversee operations, inspections, maintenance, repairs, safety, security, and property projects.


  • Serve as the primary contact for tenants and administer lease requirements, renewals, notices, and records.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts; review income, expenses, receivables, billings, and operating results.
  • Manage vendors, contracts, bids, service performance, invoices, and insurance documentation.
  • Maintain compliance records and escalate significant operational, financial, legal, or security risks.
  • Lead the transition to in-house property management and build scalable processes and reporting.



Requirements


5 years Managing multiple commercial properties, leases, vendors, maintenance activities, budgets, or property related contracts.


5 years using commercial property management platforms, such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, Appfolio, Building Engines, or comparable systems


5 years reviewing property financial information, including budgets, forecasts, budget to actual variances, operating expenses, rental income, collections, tenant billings, vendor costs, and financial or operating reports.



Preferred


10 years Managing multiple properties, leases, vendors, maintenance activities, budgets, or property related contracts.


10 years reviewing property financial information, including budgets, forecasts, budget to actual variances, operating expenses, rental income, collections, tenant billings, vendor costs, and financial or operating reports
