Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Wage: Based on Experience Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm Join a growing food manufacturing operation as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and play a critical role in keeping high-speed production equipment running efficiently. This hands-on role is ideal for a maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing automated equipment, and solving complex mechanical challenges in a fast-paced environment. Based in Ankeny, IA, you'll make a direct impact on production reliability while working with advanced equipment and a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase power - Maintain and repair high-speed equipment such as cappers, fillers, labelers, and bottling lines - Diagnose and resolve issues with sensors, photo eyes, VFDs, and motor drives - Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule or program requirements - Visually inspect, test, and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears - Collaborate with supervisors to determine appropriate repair, replacement, or modification actions Requirements for Industrial Maintenance Technician: - At least two years of industrial maintenance experience - Familiarity with food and beverage production equipment is preferred - Ability to work physically demanding tasks, exerting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally and 25 to 50 pounds frequently - Strong problem-solving, communication, and basic math skills - Ability to work in a team environment with attention to safety and detail IND092 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
