Job Title: Logistics Project Specialist
Location: Cary, NC (Remote)
Remote after initial on-boarding; Candidates must reside in the Raleigh-Durham area for in-person orientation and equipment pickup.
Employment Type: Temp (12 months) Potential to convert direct.
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $32.00/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours/week - 1 st shift
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

What You'll Do:
  • Provide inventory support to field service personnel and internal partners through phone and online assistance.
  • Coordinate and execute annual physical inventory activities, including scheduling, reconciliation, variance analysis, and follow-up actions.
  • Research and resolve inventory-related issues, including service report discrepancies, billing corrections, serial number errors, and return-processing exceptions.
  • Partner with logistics, finance, and field management teams to investigate missing parts, correct transaction errors, and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare inventory reports, analyze trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to spare parts, tools, and test equipment management.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Associate Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain support.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Logistics.
  • SAP, Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Decision making abilities.
  • Problem-solving (inventory issues, workflow challenges).
  • Detail-oriented (to meet standards for accounting processes audits).
  • Self-motivated and productive in remote environment.
  • Flexibility/adaptability (workflow changes daily).
  • Material logistics background.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle varied tasks daily.
