Location:Broomfield, CO
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Pay: $22.00 per hour

Job Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will perform precise electrical and mechanical assembly of switchgear and related equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role requires the ability to read schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and manufacturing documentation while assembling products according to established requirements. The assembler will perform in-process inspections, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams. This position is well suited for a hands-on individual with strong attention to detail and manufacturing documentation skills.

Job Responsibilities



  • Assemble switchgear and related electrical and mechanical products according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools, including torque wrenches, crimpers, cutting tools, grinding tools, and painting equipment.
  • Read and follow written work instructions for manufacturing assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Perform in-process inspections to verify products conform to drawings and work instructions.
  • Cross-check completed work against production travelers to ensure customer requirements and specifications are met.
  • Identify and report quality issues or assembly failures to the appropriate Quality team member.
  • Assist with resolving production failures and product issues.
  • Provide feedback and identify opportunities to improve existing work instructions and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain and account for production tools and equipment.
  • Clean parts and assemblies using solvents and other chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of assemblies and incoming component parts.
  • Maintain productivity levels that support the established production schedule.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams.


Job Requirements



  • 1+ year of mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, one-line diagrams, blueprints, drawings, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed work instructions and production travelers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and assist with resolving production or assembly issues.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback regarding work instructions and process improvements.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds and use mechanical lifting equipment for heavier objects.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, including up to 9 hours per day, and regularly kneel, stoop, and squat.
  • Ability to use hands, arms, and fingers to inspect, assemble, and operate tools and controls.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
