External Manufacturing Analyst
Location: Hackettstown, NJ
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week; Hybrid, Wednesday in office
Pay: $29.30 - $37.00 per hour

Job Summary
The External Manufacturing Analyst supports external manufacturing operations and partner relationships to help ensure manufacturing partners deliver against established plans and service-level expectations. This role coordinates specifications, deliveries, inventory activities, and operational requirements with external manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable learning new processes and systems while identifying opportunities for improvement.

Job Responsibilities



  • Coordinate with external manufacturing partners to support delivery against established plans.
  • Provide accurate specification packages to external manufacturing partners to support timely and compliant manufacturing.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Monitor inbound deliveries and outbound inventory activities.
  • Track partner performance against established service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Complete recurring weekly and biweekly operational tasks accurately and on time.
  • Identify and support opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and strong attention to detail across assigned responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with team members to support team objectives and provide coverage as needed.
  • Develop knowledge of external manufacturing processes and business operations.
  • Support timely resolution of operational issues and follow through on assigned actions.


Job Requirements



  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, procurement, accounting, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Veritas, or other ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
  • Proactive, action-oriented approach to resolving issues and completing assignments.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be local to the Hackettstown, NJ area.
  • No travel required.
  • No direct reports.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.


Work Experience



  • 2-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, procurement, accounting, supply chain, or logistics preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Background in finance and/or manufacturing preferred.
