Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Assistant for The Department of Family and Community Health Sciences housed within the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJ
AES).
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Provides professional support and leadership to the School Meal and SNAP Dual Enrollment Pilot Project Grant.
- Creates and manages the data analysis plan, project management, and reporting for the grant. Aids the PI in coordinating research and achieving the goals of the grant in a timely manner.
- Helps manage and interact with School Meal and SNAP Dual Enrollment Pilot Project research participants and the research team, collecting data using qualitative and quantitative methods, maintaining research databases, analyzing data, preparing research reports and summary materials, and ensuring timely completion of research activities.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- B.A. or B.S. in nutrition, public health, policy or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Previous experience working in the areas of education, nutrition, and/or public health research.
- Basic proficiency and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and IBM SPSS and NVivo.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
