Responsibilities

* Mechanically troubleshoot, repair and maintain all types of industrial machinery, equipment and systems
* Capable of rebuilding or repairing machines or assemblies to original operating conditions
* Familiar with CNC machines, punch presses, and spot-welding equipment
* Responsible for project management work and/or documentation of product equipment or processes
* Communicate, discuss, and/or review repair problems with Engineering, the Tool Room, Production Team Leads or vendors as needed
* Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance)
* Plan and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment up time
* Keep neat orderly records and order spare parts
* Perform other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Demonstrated ability to fabricate, weld, and/or machine parts as required.
* Working knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, including power transmission, fluid power, and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to read, interpret, and follow written specifications, procedures, technical drawings, and blueprints.
* Ability to understand and execute work from verbal instructions.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with close-tolerance equipment and parts.
* Proficient in the use of precision measuring and diagnostic tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, Vernier calipers, dial indicators, and similar equipment.
* Ability to apply basic mathematics to calculate dimensions, measurements, and equipment setups.
* Basic computer proficiency required, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and following established procedures.
* Ability to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and prioritize maintenance needs in a manufacturing environment.
