1st shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Full-Time Summer 2027 Internship

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated per hourly range for this position is $22 - 30 per hour based on experience.

A motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical engineer Intern is sought to join the Series 2000 team. This internship offers an opportunity to describe the overall purpose of the internship and what the intern will learn. Interns work closely with experienced professionals on various projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in a supportive environment.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create work instructions, time study.

  • Support team members with mentioning administrative tasks or day-to-day operations.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to mention area of contribution, for example, foster innovation.

  • Manage and update mention specific databases or spreadsheets.

  • Complete assigned projects within deadlines.

To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:

  • In-progress degree program from an accredited university/college program with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Standing: Occasional standing on shop floor.

  • Lifting: Occasional lifting of production parts and tooling less than 50 pounds.

  • Walking: Frequent walking throughout the facility both indoors and outdoors.

  • Carrying: Occasional carrying of light objects.

  • Pushing: Infrequent pushing of objects.

  • Pulling: Infrequent pulling of objects.

  • Bending: Occasional bending.

  • Reaching: Infrequent reaching.

  • Handling: Occasional handling of parts or tools.

  • Other: Frequent use of personal computer, keyboard, monitor.
