Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

Leads the team responsible for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, AI agent enablement, and related digital workplace platforms. This working manager role combines people leadership, service ownership, governance, roadmap direction, and hands-on technical engagement in tenant administration, Copilot readiness, agent governance, service health, automation, and secure collaboration.

Position Responsibilities:

* Manage, coach, and develop digital workplace engineering staff, including performance management, succession planning, skills development, and workload prioritization.

* Own Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, AI agent, and digital workplace strategy, roadmap, service portfolio, governance, support model, lifecycle plan, and adoption outcomes.

* Oversee architecture, engineering, administration, and operations for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and related productivity services.

* Provide hands-on review and escalation support for tenant configuration, Copilot readiness, agent configuration, service health, collaboration controls, Power Platform governance, automation, migrations, and production incidents.

* Establish standards for collaboration, content, workflow, automation, Copilot readiness, AI agent lifecycle management, tenant configuration, access, data handling, retention, and integration.

* Partner across teams to enable governed adoption of Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI agents, and digital workplace capabilities.

* Lead tenant modernization, governance uplift, major feature rollouts, mergers or migrations, and cross-functional digital workplace initiatives.

* Ensure operational excellence through incident, problem, change, capacity, release, configuration, vendor, and service-level management practices.

* Define metrics for platform health, adoption, support, risk, cost, license utilization, reliability, Copilot adoption, AI agent usage, and customer experience.

* Manage Microsoft and third-party partner relationships, licensing, contracts, budgets, support escalations, and roadmap alignment.

* Guide technical tradeoffs across security, usability, cost, delivery speed, supportability, and reliability while maintaining architecture and engineering standards.

* Maintain service documentation, decision records, runbooks, recovery plans, and audit-ready evidence.

Requirements:

* Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, service ownership, facilitation, and customer-focused communication skills.

* Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration, governance, security, compliance, collaboration, content management, workflow, Microsoft Copilot, AI agent enablement, and adoption.

* Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration, tenant configuration, collaboration platform troubleshooting, Copilot readiness, AI agent configuration, PowerShell or automation practices, service health monitoring, governance controls, and production support.

* Ability to set domain-level architecture and standards and manage tradeoffs involving risk, cost, delivery speed, user experience, and reliability.

* Working knowledge of enterprise identity, conditional access, data loss prevention, information protection, retention, eDiscovery, monitoring, automation, AI governance, agent lifecycle controls, and IT service management.

* Ability to lead multi-quarter programs and influence technical and business stakeholders across organizational boundaries.

Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 8+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft 365, digital workplace, collaboration platforms, Microsoft Copilot, AI agent enablement, enterprise architecture, or technology operations.

* 3+ years of formal people-management or equivalent team leadership experience.

* Experience defining reference architectures, leading tenant-scale initiatives, enabling Copilot and AI agent capabilities, and driving adoption is required; relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $130,315.00 - 179,183.40

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
