Job Summary This position is Full-time, 40hrs We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Allergy Nurse to join our dynamic, fast-paced clinical team. This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients with allergic and immunologic conditions across multiple satellite locations. The ideal candidate will have: * 3-5 Years of RN Strongly Preferred * Pediatric and Acute Experience Preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct oral food challenges and drug challenges - Perform skin prick and intradermal allergy testing - Administer biologic therapies and monitor patient response - Manage environmental allergen immunotherapy and oral immunotherapy treatments - Provide comprehensive patient and family education - Perform phone triage and address patient and parent concerns - Complete prior authorizations and assist with care coordination Key Skills: - Strong clinical skills in acute pediatric nursing preferred - Excellent communication and patient education abilities - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based, and fast-paced environment - Highly organized with strong attention to detail Additional Requirements: - Willingness and ability to travel between satellite locations in Boston, Newton, and Danvers This position is ideal for a motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality pediatric care. Summary Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Yes Essential Functions -Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
