Overview

This is a remote role that will be hired in the Eastern Time Zone in the United States.

This position serves as a strategic partner across Credit, Reporting, Data, Product, and Technology organizations, ensuring business, data, process, and system changes are effectively assessed for impacts to Credit Reporting and downstream reporting deliverables.

This role is responsible for performing complex business and data impact assessments, translating business requirements into actionable data use cases, leading data triage, and root cause analysis efforts, and driving improvements in data quality, data lineage transparency, and reporting readiness. The analyst will play a critical role in proactively identifying and mitigating reporting and data risks.

The successful candidate will possess strong credit domain expertise, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple organizations while independently leading strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities:

Credit Reporting Impact Assessment

  • Perform portfolio-level impact assessments to identify reporting, data, and operational risks before implementation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are understood and incorporated into change initiatives.

Business & Data Requirements Management

  • Translate business requirements into credit data use cases and actionable requirements for Product, Technology, and Data teams.
  • Develop business process maps, data flow documentation, and reporting requirements to support strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Data Analysis & Data Assurance

  • Perform advanced analysis of credit and reporting data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Improve transparency into data quality, data lineage, controls, and reporting readiness across the Credit Reporting ecosystem.
  • Support the design and implementation of processes that enhance data reliability and consumption confidence.

Data Triage & Issue Management

  • Lead data triage activities, root cause analysis, and issue prioritization across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinate the resolution of data quality, reporting, and operational issues by partnering with business, technology, and data teams.
  • Escalate and communicate material risks and issues to senior stakeholders as appropriate.

Reporting Risk Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate reporting and data risks before they impact downstream consumers or regulatory deliverables.
  • Evaluate control effectiveness and recommend enhancements that strengthen reporting accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Support governance and risk management activities related to Credit Reporting and data management.

Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Independently lead cross-functional initiatives involving Credit, Reporting, Technology, Product, and Data organizations.
  • Influence decision-making by translating complex credit concepts into measurable business and data impacts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on Credit Reporting, data risk, and reporting readiness matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Analytics, or Modeling, or Reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience assessing the impact of data, process, system, or business changes on reporting and regulatory deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending, credit products, and the end-to-end credit lifecycle.
  • Experience with data lineage, data governance, data quality, and controls frameworks.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience analyzing large, complex datasets.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and leading issue remediation efforts.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting, reporting controls, or enterprise risk management practices.
  • Experience working across Credit, Technology, Data, and Reporting organizations.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience supporting large-scale data transformation, modernization, or credit data initiatives.

The base pay for this position is generally between $95,000 and $115,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
