Description
MISO is hiring a Software Engineer I. This role builds and supports sustainable, practical solutions to complex challenges in MISO's forward markets while working closely with engineers, data scientists, and advisors across the Forward Market Solutions (FMS) team. You'll collaborate with leaders throughout MISO to deliver highquality, datadriven tools that modernize market operations, integrate AI, and enhance userinteractive applications that scale with the rapidly evolving energy industry. As a key liaison with our agile Software Engineering teams, you will help ensure that new solutions align with real operational needs and add meaningful value. The tools and insights developed by this team strengthen situational awareness, improve decisionmaking, and support our mission of optimizing markets, reducing risk, and delivering reliable energy to the region. Bachelors of Computer Engineering (preferred)
Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (preferred) Bachelors of Computer Science (preferred) Experience
1 - 3 years: Specific experience within any of the following: Python, SQL (required), Angular (Preferred) (preferred)
