You will also help improve the processes behind the work, making IT support more consistent as Richard grows.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company IT assets, including laptops, iPads, mobile phones, and jobsite equipment, tracking assigned users, locations, condition, and status.
  • Configure, prepare, deploy, transfer, and recover IT equipment to ensure employees have the necessary technology and equipment to perform their roles.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, hiring managers, and IT partners to complete employee onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, access provisioning, equipment recovery, and license reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate software license records, including assignments, availability, and renewal dates, identifying opportunities to reassign or cancel unused licenses.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for application installation, sign-in, access, and common software issues.
  • Manage and prioritize IT support tickets, communicate progress and next steps, and coordinate escalations with IT service providers and vendors through resolution.

  • Maintain organized IT documentation, including inventory records, support tickets, setup instructions, onboarding and offboarding checklists, and employee-facing resources.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and recommend process improvements to reduce repeat support requests and improve the employee experience.
  • Ensure IT equipment is configured in accordance with approved company standards, security requirements, and access controls.
Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience previously supporting IT, help desk, technical support, etc. AEC industry experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows laptops, iPads, mobile phones, and common workplace applications.
  • Experience maintaining accurate IT asset inventories, software license records, and equipment assignment documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests and follow through to completion.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and patiently to employees with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Ability to prioritize competing support requests based on urgency, employee impact, and project operational needs.
  • Understanding of secure device configuration, access management, software licensing, and employee offboarding procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently, identify when escalation is necessary, and remain engaged until issues are resolved.
