Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Updates current formulas and generates new formulas from company files.

2. Adds and updates current formulas in company database.

3. Generates product Nutrition and Ingredient statements from company database.

4. Proofs product labels to verify correct nutrition information, ingredients, and USDA/FDA compliance.

5. Obtains USDA label approvals on all meat and poultry items.

6. Researches new and existing product specifications.

7. Supplies information for to customers as requested.

8. Issues formulas to production facilities.

Job Specifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Office, clerical, or research experience is preferred.

3. Requires the ability to work independently and be detail orientated.

4. Basic computer skills are required.

Working Conditions

1. Office environment.

2. Occasionally lift packages up to 20 pounds.

This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
