SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Director of Strategic Marketing leads customer-centered marketing across Pro Tapes' four strategic pillars-Arts & Entertainment, ProFab, Mavalus, and Contract Converting. This leader owns the voice of the customer and market insight, embeds marketing into business strategy, translates the agreed global Arts & Entertainment strategy into regional market plans, and advances ProGaff brand ownership. The role leads through defined decision rights and close partnership with Sales, Product Management, regional leaders, and the broader organization, with success measured by customer value, profitable growth, and execution-not marketing activity alone.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Customer-Led Strategy

  • Own the voice of the customer and market-insight process across Arts & Entertainment, ProFab, Mavalus, and Contract Converting.
  • Embed marketing at the beginning of business strategy, portfolio planning, and commercial decision-making.
  • Use customer, channel, competitive, and market insights to identify growth priorities and shape clear value propositions.
  • Make Pro Tapes easier for customers to discover, understand, buy from, and trust.
  • Establish measurable marketing priorities tied to customer value, revenue growth, retention, acquisition, and expansion.

Global Arts & Entertainment Growth

  • Translate the agreed global Arts & Entertainment strategy into actionable market plans while enabling regional leaders to retain local profit-and-loss accountability.
  • Drive profitable global growth through disciplined regional pricing guardrails, channel strategies, and commercial priorities.
  • Implement the five-vertical customer segmentation model market by market and use it to guide acquisition, retention, and expansion plans.
  • Partner with regional and commercial leaders to identify market-specific opportunities while protecting global brand and profitability standards.
  • Define and track leading and lagging indicators for global Arts & Entertainment growth, customer penetration, pricing, margin, and execution.

ProGaff Brand Ownership

  • Centralize global ProGaff brand governance at Pro Tapes and establish clear standards for positioning, identity, messaging, pricing, and product bundles.
  • Build and execute a phased roadmap to full brand ownership against agreed 2027 readiness milestones.
  • Ensure brand continuity and profitability across regions, channels, customer segments, and commercial partners.
  • Create governance routines that align global strategy with disciplined local execution.

Product Strategy & Launch

  • Co-lead customer-centered product and launch strategy with Product Management, Sales, and cross-functional partners.
  • Validate customer space, use case, value proposition, price, and margin requirements against real market demand.
  • Own launch readiness, commercialization, and project-team coordination from concept through market introduction.
  • Apply agreed decision rights, milestones, and launch gates to improve speed, accountability, and commercial outcomes.

Team Leadership & Partnership

  • Lead and develop the strategic marketing team, including clear priorities, accountability, and capability building.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, regional leaders, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to align strategy and execution.
  • Lead through influence and defined decision rights in a matrixed organization.
  • Use agreed resources and confirm organizational capacity before expanding scope or adding commitments.
  • Build a customer-first culture measured by business impact, not marketing activity.
