Now hiring for a CDL A Yard Hostler Location: Fontana, CA Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour Schedule Options Day Shift: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday \| 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Night Shift: Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday \| 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM Day Shift: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday \| 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Night Shift: Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday \| 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM Professional Drivers Keep America Moving. Staffmark Drivers wants to put YOU in the driver's seat with an excellent opportunity! We are currently looking for a Class A yard goat driver to start immediately! You will also shuttle containers from one yard to another. Job Duties Must be able to operate a yard goat to move trailers within warehouse facility and move to other yard Moving trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers. Hostler will perform pre and post trips daily, chock rear wheels and be aware of safety hazards. Hostler will be moving up to 60+ moves per shift, and must be able to work in fast paced environment Hostler must have strong communication skills Driving Requirements Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) 1 year of experience yard hostling within the past 3 years with your Class A At least 22 years of age, or older Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot - discounts on almost anything you want to buy The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
