Now Hiring a Clay Design Sculptor Location: Dearborn, MI \| Fully Onsite Pay Rate: $35.62/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Shape the Future of Automotive Design Do you have a passion for bringing innovative vehicle concepts to life? We're seeking a skilled Clay Design Sculptor to create high-quality physical models that transform design ideas into reality. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment where craftsmanship, collaboration, and problem-solving are valued. Job Duties Create and modify clay models based on design specifications. Support concept and production model development. Interpret design data and translate it into high-quality physical models. Collaborate with designers and engineering teams to implement design changes. Utilize problem-solving skills to meet quality and timing requirements. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the modeling process. Qualifications Experience in automotive clay or physical modeling. Strong understanding of surface development and physical modeling techniques. Ability to adapt to changing design direction in a collaborative environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with modeling software such as Alias is a plus. Completion of a Physical/Clay Modeling Certification Program required. Related bachelor's degree preferred.
