Hematology/Oncology Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Health Johnston - Smithfield, NC

UNC Health is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join the COC-accredited oncology program at UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, North Carolina. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide highquality, patientcentered oncology care in a closeknit community setting, while remaining connected with UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of the nation's leading NCIdesignated cancer centers.

Required Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology

Education Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* MD;DEA
* BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Prefer prior experience in Oncology.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in area of specialty.
