The role leads the end-to-end technical flow across data processing, workflow orchestration, AWS cloud services, containerized deployment, CI/CD automation, and production troubleshooting. The lead will provide technical direction to the offshore team, review deliverables, resolve complex production issues, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and supportable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of data-processing and analytics solutions using Alteryx, Python, R, SQL, and PL/SQL, with Alteryx as a mandatory hands-on skill.
- Own the complete technical flow from data ingestion and transformation through orchestration, cloud integration, container deployment, release automation, monitoring, and production support.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, optimize, and support Alteryx workflows, including data-source integration, transformations, scheduling, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
- Develop Python- and R-based solutions for automation, data processing, analytics, API integration, statistical analysis, and operational tooling.
- Design and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures to support reliable, high-performing database processing and business logic.
- Build and support AWS-based capabilities using S3 for object storage, Secrets Manager for secure credential handling, SNS for notifications/events, and ECR for container image storage.
- Develop, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows and data pipelines using Airflow, including dependency management, failure handling, and operational recovery.
- Support containerized application deployment and runtime operations using Kubernetes, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production stability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness, including build, deployment, validation, release controls, and rollback readiness.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex application, workflow, data, cloud, deployment, and production incidents; lead root cause analysis and drive permanent corrective actions.
- Guide the distributed delivery team through solution design, development standards, code and design reviews, troubleshooting, deployment readiness, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Partner with data, application, cloud, DevOps, security, testing, support, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
- Maintain architecture notes, technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, support procedure s, release records, and operational knowledge artifacts.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, performance improvement, reliability, observability, support efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Data & Analytics: Alteryx (mandatory), Python, R, SQL, and PL/SQL. Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting production workflows and analytics solutions.
- AWS Cloud: Hands-on experience with Amazon S3, AWS Secrets Manager, SNS, and ECR, including secure configuration and operational support.
- Production Engineering: Advanced debugging, performance tuning, root cause analysis, secure secrets handling, monitoring, incident resolution, and operational reliability.
- Workflow Orchestration: Airflow workflow development, scheduling, dependency management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery.
- Container Platform: Kubernetes deployments, configuration, monitoring, runtime troubleshooting, and issue resolution for containerized services.
- CI/CD & Release: Harness pipeline design and support covering build, deployment, validation, release controls, and rollback readiness.
Leadership and Collaboration Skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead through hands-on technical contribution, sound engineering judgment, and end-to-end ownership.
- Experience working with distributed onshore and offshore teams and converting business and technical requirements into executable delivery plans.
- Ability to conduct code, workflow, design, and deployment reviews; enforce engineering standards; and mentor team members.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to coordinate and support critical production incidents, planned implementations, and post-release validation as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering enterprise data, analytics, workflow automation, or cloud-native solutions in regulated environments.
- Experience with observability, platform reliability, secure engineering, and production support practices.
- Knowledge of release governance, audit readiness, operational controls, incident management, and continuous-improvement methods.
