Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and other surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Refill restroom and break-room supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Clean spills promptly and place warning signs when floors are wet.
• Follow cleaning schedules and use supplies and equipment safely.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to a supervisor.
• Follow facility rules for working around manufacturing equipment and production areas.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies or equipment as required.
• Work may take place in an active manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and moving equipment.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and follow facility safety requirements.
