Are you inspired by challenging the status quo? Do you thrive in collaborative environments that drive results? If so, Gates could be for you. Gates is a leading manufacturer of application-specific fluid power and power transmission solutions. We push the boundaries of material science to engineer solutions that continually exceed customer expectations. Let's simplify it, think belts and hoses. Found in motorcycles, conveyor belts, cars, tractors, blenders, vacuum cleaners, bicycles, & 3D printers just to name a few. Because why not do it all? What to Expect
GESNA is seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Quality & HSE Manager to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) functions for our Houston manufacturing and service operations. This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in API Q1 quality systems and a strong understanding of the oil and gas industry. Experience supporting API 7K and API 16C licensed products is highly preferred. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business results, successfully leading audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing teams while maintaining a strong hands-on presence in daily operations. This is not strictly a desk-based management role. The Quality & HSE Manager must be willing to roll up their sleeves, work alongside their team, participate in inspections, audits, investigations, corrective actions, and problem-solving efforts, and lead by example on the shop floor. While reporting directly to the Sr. Operations Manager, the Quality & HSE Manager will maintain close alignment with regional and global Quality and HSE leadership through regular performance reviews, KPI reporting, and participation in recurring business reviews. The role is responsible for providing monthly updates on quality, safety, environmental, compliance, audit, and continuous improvement performance while ensuring local initiatives remain aligned with broader organizational objectives. Keys Responsibilities (to name a few)
