Location: Coppell, TX

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)

Job Duties

• Operate sawing and CNC machinery according to the daily production schedule
• Load and execute machine programs accurately
• Install, set up, and align tools
• Measure parts to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
• Identify and report raw material damage and/or defects
• Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs) on machines
• Perform daily machine and work-area cleaning
• Support continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous saw operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Experience working with wood or other raw materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to identify and report material defects and scrap.
• Willingness to assist with preventive maintenance.
• Ability to maintain inventory records and follow 5S practices.
• Reliable attendance and availability to work occasional Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Saw Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
