Scrap Inspector

We are looking for Scrap Inspector to join our team in Braddock, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Send out daily car count identifying the scrap commodity and location of the cars.
• Work with TMS WM Yard on daily shipments to ensure the BOP has the proper scrap mix for

the upcoming scheduled heats.

• Inspect scrap cars daily to ensure the scrap is meeting USS specs.
• Work with the RR to supply the correct mix of cars on the three tracks that run into the BOP.
• Work with Plant Manager and BOP Management to answer any questions regarding scrap.
• Communicate with the TMS District Manager regarding how the shop is running and what is

needed.

• Help track inbound shipments to ensure the BOP has the scrap mix needed to operate.
• Communicate with TMS Customer Service Engineer on the mix and any issues with GenBlend.
• Participate in the Corporate Quality Program as required.
• Follow all safety, environmental and other compliance rules and policies.
