Job Title: Sanitation Associate I Location: Calera, AL 35040 Duration: 5+ Months Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Interview Process: In-person interview required so candidates can tour the facility and gain an understanding of the work environment. Job Summary The Sanitation Associate I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of company facilities in accordance with established standards. This role performs routine custodial duties to ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment for employees and visitors. Essential Responsibilities Clean and sanitize office areas, common spaces, and company facilities. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Vacuum floors and perform light dusting of office furniture and workspaces. Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms with necessary supplies. Maintain facility cleanliness and organization throughout the workday. Follow company safety and sanitation procedures. Report maintenance or cleanliness concerns to management as needed. Qualifications 1-3 years of custodial, sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. Dependable attendance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
