Salary range

$130,100.00 - $195,100.00 per year

Salary range

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, including active or completed construction projects.

• Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and accurately report facts and findings.

• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.

• Develop and present clear, concise, and defensible opinions regarding construction defects.

• Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.

• Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, building codes, and relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several investigations simultaneously.
• Commitment to supporting the growth and development of the business.
• Curiosity to learn and grow within the construction forensics realm.

Required Experience, Education, and Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license with construction experience and ability to obtain a General Contractor (GC license. GC license (active of inactive) is beneficial.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management

Physical Demands, Overtime, and Travel

• Overnight travel is required approximately 1-4 times per month.

• Approximately 80% In office and 20% In field
