Job Duties Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment Manufacture precision custom parts to customer specifications and tight tolerances Align and secure materials using fixtures, clamps, shuttles, and tooling Set up equipment using precision measuring devices and general shop tools Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, indicators, and other measuring equipment Verify dimensions and quality standards by reviewing blueprints and operation sheets Remove burrs and sharp edges using hand tools, air grinders, and manual finishing equipment Maintain accurate production logs, machining records, and inspection documentation Complete travelers, deviation tickets, and other required paperwork Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Experience Requirements 1-2 years of machining, manufacturing, or machine shop experience required Experience operating manual lathes, mills, grinders, or similar equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and technical drawings Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, indicators, and calipers Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, fixtures, clamps, and workholding devices Prior aerospace manufacturing experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts Physical Capabilities Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to safely operate machining equipment and hand tools Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
