Are you the person who always knows where every case is, what's on the next truck, and whether the numbers tie out? Legacy Bakehouse is looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Coordinator to own the day-to-day supply program for one of our most important customers.
ABOUT LEGACY BAKEHOUSE
Legacy Bakehouse is a fast-growing food manufacturer producing high-quality baked goods across multiple production facilities. We serve national retail and foodservice customers and we take pride in building supply chain partnerships that support our growth and our commitment to quality. If you want to work somewhere your decisions matter - this is the place.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Legacy Bakehouse supports a key national customer through a dedicated supply program, and we need a detail-driven Supply Chain Coordinator to run it. You'll be the point person for scheduling, ordering, receiving, and shipping for this account, and you'll make sure every inventory and quantity movement is recorded correctly in both our ERP system and the customer's system so the two always match. You'll work closely with Planning, Operations, the warehouse, Quality, and Finance, and as you get established, you'll also help our purchasing team with general buying needs across the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Customer Scheduling & Ordering
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the customer's planning, purchasing, and logistics teams
- Review customer orders and forecasts and translate them into material and production requirements
- Place, change, and follow up on purchase orders for ingredients, packaging, and other materials tied to the program
- Coordinate production timing with Planning and Operations to meet customer due dates
- Communicate order confirmations, schedule changes, and potential delays to the customer promptly and clearly
Receiving & Shipping
- Schedule and coordinate inbound deliveries for the program, including any customer-supplied materials
- Verify receipts against purchase orders and packing lists; resolve shortages, overages, and damaged goods
- Schedule outbound shipments with the warehouse and carriers and confirm orders ship complete and on time
- Ensure bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents are accurate and complete
Inventory & System Accuracy
- Record every receipt, transfer, production consumption, adjustment, and shipment accurately in our ERP system
- Enter or confirm the same transactions in the customer's system or portal within the required timeframes
- Reconcile inventory and quantities between our system and the customer's system; investigate and resolve every variance
- Track inventory by ownership where applicable (customer-owned vs. Legacy Bakehouse-owned)
- Support cycle counts and physical inventories for program materials and finished goods
- Maintain the records needed to support customer billing, invoicing, and month-end close
General Purchasing Support
- Assist the purchasing team with purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and expediting for other categories
- Help resolve invoice, pricing, and receiving discrepancies with Accounts Payable
- Maintain accurate item, vendor, and pricing data in the ERP system
- Provide coverage for other buyers during absences and peak periods
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Quality on material holds, COAs, and documentation for program materials
- Partner with Finance on reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
- Report program performance (on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, open variances) to leadership
- Recommend process improvements that reduce errors and manual re-entry between systems
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, production scheduling, inventory control, order management, or logistics - food manufacturing or CPG preferred
- Hands-on ERP experience required - SAP and/or NetSuite a strong plus
- Working knowledge of receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Exceptional attention to detail - when numbers don't tie out, you find out why

- Coordinate the day's outbound shipments; record shipments in both systems
- Check that all of the day's transactions match between the two systems; correct errors the same day
- Communicate shortages, delays, or discrepancies to the customer and internal teams
