Are you ready to drive the future of mobility and play a pivotal role in optimizing complex, real-world operations? We are seeking a talented and analytical professional to join a pioneering force in autonomous transportation, partnering with Aquent to find the perfect match. In this dynamic role, you will transform raw operational data into strategic insights, directly influencing how a cutting-edge fleet scales and performs. Your analytical expertise will not just track metrics-it will shape the future of intelligent transit, bridging the gap between data-driven strategy and boots-on-the-ground execution.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a visionary leader in the autonomous vehicle industry, dedicated to redefining urban mobility with safe, clean, and efficient transportation solutions. Working within their forward-thinking operations team, you will collaborate closely with functional leaders to diagnose performance, uncover operational gaps, and guide strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where your insights will directly impact day-to-day efficiency and long-term organizational scaling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational performance across key areas including readiness, response times, ground operations, infrastructure, and capacity utilization.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, root causes of performance shifts, bottlenecks, and high-impact opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate operational efficiency across staffing, throughput, cycle times, and overall cost structures.
  • Develop robust business cases and quantify the projected impact of proposed operational improvements.
  • Support the development, operationalization, and documentation of key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple organizational levels.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to refine metric definitions, improve data quality, and establish performance targets.
  • Facilitate recurring operating reviews and weekly business updates, preparing performance analyses and surfacing critical areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Perform industry research to identify best practices, benchmark operating models, and support special projects focused on automation and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, operations, analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations analytics, business operations, strategy & operations, consulting, finance, or a closely related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems.
  • Proficiency in SQL, AI-assisted tools, and advanced spreadsheet modeling.
  • Experience working with data visualization or business intelligence (BI) platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively with large, fragmented, or imperfect datasets to extract meaningful, actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into concise, executive-ready insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally across technical and operational teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-growth, operationally complex environment.
  • Experience analyzing frontline, field, or logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, capacity planning, process improvement, or operational efficiency methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Python or other advanced analytical programming languages.
  • Experience partnering with Data Science, Engineering, Product, or Finance teams.
  • Experience supporting executive or senior-leadership operating reviews.
