Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Mandatory * Proven experience as an Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Architect or Technical Lead, owning solution design and production delivery. * Strong hands-on expertise in Open Storefront Framework (OSF), React, JavaScript, Node.js, and Server-Side Extensions (SSE). * Deep understanding of OCC REST APIs, extension mechanisms, B2B commerce configuration, and the order lifecycle. * Experience designing complex OCC integrations with ERP, CPQ, CRM, and other enterprise systems. * Strong knowledge of API security, identity and access management, and customer data protection. * Experience troubleshooting storefront performance, deployments, caching, API failures, and platform upgrades. * Working knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL and database-backed REST services. * Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans; strong stakeholder communication, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills. Preferred (not mandatory) * Oracle ATP, APEX, ORDS, Oracle Integration Cloud, and OCI Object Storage. * Oracle CPQ Cloud and Oracle Fusion ERP integrations. * Oracle Text, search optimization, JSON/CLOB processing, and database performance tuning. * Artwork management, approval workflows, digital asset management, or 3D visualization integrations. * Global B2B commerce platforms, AMS operations, and legacy OCC storefronts using Knockout.js. Roles & Responsibilities Role Overview Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions and guide development, reliable delivery, and production operations. Support B2B commerce journeys from product selection through approval workflows and ordering. * Own end-to-end OCC architecture across storefront, commerce services, extensions, and integrations; take ownership of the existing architecture and technical backlog. * Design B2B organizations, accounts, contacts, catalogs, pricing, customer-specific access, cart, checkout, and orders. * Set architecture and development standards for reusable OSF components and SSE services; assess native OCC capabilities versus customization and document decisions. * Assess the technical impact of OCC releases, OSF upgrades, Node.js compatibility, and platform changes. * Design integrations with Oracle CPQ, Fusion ERP, ATP, APEX, and external platforms. Define REST API contracts, authentication, validation, error handling, retries, and monitoring. * Architect product, customer, pricing, and order data flows; establish consistent data ownership and reliable cross-system processing. * Guide ORDS APIs, SQL/PLSQL services, Oracle Object Storage, and APEX-based workflows and approval processes integrated with commerce. * Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and non-functional requirements; maintain documentation and lead knowledge transfer. * Review code and designs, mentor developers, and resolve complex technical issues. * Lead performance analysis across storefront rendering, APIs, database queries, uploads, and search; guide deployment, environment configuration, caching, logging, and operational readiness. * Support critical incidents, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions; coordinate business stakeholders, delivery, QA, infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Expected Outcomes Deliver maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements and platform capabilities; improve performance, reliability, and integration resilience; provide clear technical direction for enhancements, upgrades, and production issue resolution. Generic Managerial Skills, If any Technical leadership, developer mentoring, stakeholder communication, cross-team and vendor coordination, problem-solving, architecture documentation, and knowledge transfer. Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and implementation plans and guide reliable delivery and production operations. Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 per year
