Program Description:
The South Hadley Girls Treatment Program provides young women between the ages of 13 - 18 with the educational, life skills, therapeutic, recreational, and support services needed to improve their behavior and ultimately return home and into their communities. Residents attend high school classes or GED courses and participate in a curriculum designed to impart new life skills to enable them to make healthier choices when re-entering their communities. Therapeutic services focus on helping each young woman develop strategies to increase coping skills and promote positive decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with the structure and activities that occur during each shift
- Coordinate all scheduled student activities and refer students to appropriate employees for support
- Observe and record all medication that has been taken and counted in the medication and narcotic logbook
- Supervise shifts in the absence of a supervisor
- Administer prescribed medications in the absence of nursing staff
- Communicate all necessary information to the on-coming supervisor
- Complete required documentation prior to the end of the shift
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of residential treatment experience
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Bachelor's degree - preferred

$2,500 Sign-On Incentive
This position is eligible for the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of $2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive $500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.
