About this Position:

The purpose and function of the Inventory Analyst is to be responsible for the activities necessary to implement and follow inventory control practices and procedures. Inventory Analyst will produce reports on current inventory status, investigate and resolve inventory control issues and work with all users of the inventory to promote inventory integrity, high levels of accuracy and maintain compliance.

The WMS Super User will serve as American Honda's WMS (Warehouse Management System), LMS (Labor Management System) and RF expert for the Parts Center. The Super User will address operations issues and reconfiguration issues within the systems. The Super User will also assist operations by developing and providing reporting as needed

Responsibilities include:



  • Maintain Inventory by timely resolution of Cycle counts and adjustments
  • WMS/LMS Configuration/Maintenance/Troubleshooting
  • RF Maintenance - Troubleshoot and perform general maintenance on RF units
  • System Access Maintenance - Control access to AHM inventory systems to ensure SOX compliance
  • Consulting - Advise Parts Center Management and associates on the feasibility of proposed operational changes



Qualifications

Required Work Experience:



  • 1-2 years of college or the equivalent job-related experience preferred.
  • Minimum job experience of 1+ year in a distribution environment with increasing responsibilities to include specialized areas.
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory control (CICS & WMS) and distribution/warehouse operations
  • Understanding of existing parts center processes and ability to assist management in creating work instructions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications (excel, word, access)
  • Working knowledge of business objects as it applies to WMS AND LMS to produce all necessary reports to manage parts center activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data relationships


Required Education:



  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
