About this Position:

The Data Specialist provides ongoing support in the management of data integrity in People Soft. The Specialist analyzes a logical structure of data in the system to update and maintain correct information in People Soft. The Specialist also provides solutions to data issues and provides consultative guidance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining data integrity in People Soft. Advise and provide guidance to managers, associates and other stakeholders related to data issues. Conduct audits and be in compliance with SOX regulations.

    • Personnel Action Form entries
    • Division and Department Tree
    • Cost Centers
    • Job Code
    • SMH Data and Shift Differential
    • Step Rates update
  • Develop processes and SOPs that will increase efficiencies and data validities

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • Previous experience handling HR data or HR Systems (Preferred)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired skills:

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office software; Excel skills a plus
  • Experience in HR System software, preferably ORACLE People Soft.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Extensive interaction and communication with California based team members
