RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Program Clinician position to join our team in South Hadley . A $2500 sign-on bonus is available!
The South Hadley Girls Treatment Program provides young women between the ages of 13 - 18 with the educational, life skills, therapeutic, recreational, and support services needed to improve their behavior and ultimately return home and into their communities. These young women have often made poor choices, developed negative behaviors, and/or experienced a range of trauma as a result of abuse and neglect. Residents attend high school classes or GED courses and participate in a curriculum designed to impart new life skills to enable them to make healthier choices when re-entering their communities. The girls participate in educational and clinical programs as well as individual, group, and family therapy. They also engage in recreational activities. Therapeutic services focus on helping each young woman develop strategies to increase coping skills and promote positive decision-making. The average stay is three to eight months.
Responsibilities:


  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy to assigned caseloads.
  • Developing, presenting, and implementing Individualized Master Treatment Plans.
  • Conducting risk assessments and managing client crises.
  • Actively participating in supporting a healthy treatment milieu.
  • Following all RFK Community Alliance Clinical and Program policies and procedures.
  • During training, staff, and clinical meetings, providing leadership regarding program philosophy and policy in all forums, including living space and the school.
  • Conducting group treatment with residents according to treatment recommendations and as designated by Clinical Director.
  • Attending workshops/training related to professional growth to enhance clinical expertise and maintain licensure.
  • Providing clinical training/in-service to Program Milieu Staff.
  • Attending all required meetings: Staff and Clinical Meetings, Monthly conferences, Program administration, Psychiatric Reviews, Foster care Reviews, and CORE/School meetings


Requirements:


  • Master's degree (MSW, M.A., License Eligible degree),
  • Familiarity with developmental theory. Residential and juvenile justice experience is a plus.


Shift:
Sunday & Monday 11am-7pm: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9am-5pm

$2,500 Sign-On Incentive

This position is eligible for the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of $2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive $500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.
