The Financial Analyst role will lead the administration and growth of our primary budgeting and forecasting tool, Planful (Previously Host Analytics). This incredible opportunity will place you at the forefront of predictive financial analytics as you maintain, scale, and enhance the software. This role has great executive exposure on a very fun team that will challenge you to think outside the box and grow the tool. Annual, semi-annual and monthly financial reporting will build your financial analysis skills while unique and challenging projects hone your strategic business analytics expertise.

General Purpose and Scope of Position:



  • Administration of the financial software, Planful (Previously Host Analytics)

    • Facilitate the budget process to ensure a smooth rollout and successful data load

      • Ensure all users have access and correct permissions/roles
      • Annual budgeting process coordination, custom management report creation and template development, review and launch
      • Monitor deadline adherence and messaging


    • Provide financial and analytical support to managers, FP&A and, where necessary, to field management including, but not limited to:

      • Financial Forecasts - template development & review
      • Operations modeling and analysis
      • Microstrategy reporting - Drive strategic analytics by building custom dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and alerts
      • Review and analyze location, district, and regional financial trends and performance
      • Varying other tasks in support of FP&A initiatives


    • Data Projects - Future proof Wilbur-Ellis by challenging inefficient processes, learning and scaling new tools, and upskilling your peers

      • This role has high touch points with the entire organization so cross-functional work and a drive to succeed are essential






Requirements:



  • Education/Certification:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or Information Systems)


  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of business analytics or relevant finance experience using financial and data visualization tools or systems


  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
    • Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at once
    • Exceptional Excel skills required
    • Ability to quickly learn new software and scale / teach it's use
    • Experience with JD Edwards, Planful, database tools, visualization tools, VBA and/or SQL a plus
    • Ability to work virtually and sometimes independently with a diverse team across the country


  • Light travel required for team meetings (less than 5%)
