Description

American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our Practitioner Contracting/Communications department. This position will create and manage written materials that are sent to provider offices. Duties include creating, maintaining, organizing, revising, and coordinating quality review and mailing of materials. The ideal candidate can work on multiple projects at once, has a keen attention to detail and always communicates in a positive and professional manner.

Hourly Salary Range

American Specialty Health complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate's qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $16.40 to $20.23 Hourly Wage

Remote Worker Considerations

Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain letters, documents, e-mail templates, webpages, marketing material content and other material to support practitioner network.
  • Coordinates and manages approval of materials with appropriate parties prior to mailing.
  • Manages and posts files to a Content Management System and SharePoint Intranet for external and internal viewing on various websites.
  • Coordinates and manages distribution process of mailings.
  • Provides quality assurance review on files and corrects as needed to assure accurate and complete information is released to practitioner network.
  • Assures that materials are reviewed on a regular basis and updated as appropriate to keep them current and effective.
  • Assures system updates are done accurately for applicable changes.
  • Completes quality assurance on all applicable system updates for changes.
  • Responds to requests from other departments.
  • Recognizes unique and complex situations and creates solutions in conjunction with Manager.
  • Completes or assist with special projects at the request of the Manager.
  • Collaborates with team members and contributes positively to achievement of team goals and objectives.
  • Enters data, prepare, and distribute correspondence, spreadsheets and reports as needed.
  • Organizes and maintain all documents in eFiles as needed.
  • Enhances computer and systems skills necessary to perform job functions.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all practitioner information.
  • Represents ASH in an ethical, professional, and positive manner.
  • Maintains all information and material received from employer and outside counsel during employment on a strictly confidential basis.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred. If equivalent experience, high school diploma required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience providing administrative support with at least 1 year of managed care experience.
  • Demonstrated writing proficiency with a strong attention to detail required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable communicating on the phone, instant messenger, email, and intranet.

Primarily sedentary, able to sit for long periods of time.

Physical Requirements

Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel and/or objects. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Ability to travel within the facility. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

Environmental Conditions

Work-from-home (WFH) environment.
