Position: Human Resources Manager

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 Annually

(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES: The newly created position of the Human Resources Manager will assist with leading and directing the routine day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department and Programs including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compliance, health benefits administration, leave of absence programs, workers compensation, health and wellness and recognition programs, and enforcing compliance with agency, state and federal employment laws. The HR Manager will primarily service Cornerstones of Care's Kansas programs, and will assist with organization HR functions as needed. The HR Manager will provide coaching and mentoring to management and act as a collaborative partner to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Director of HR Operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, a high level of organizational skill and attention to detail. Additionally, they must have advanced computer skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. The HR Manager will report to the Director of HR Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience. Preferred: Two (2) - three (3) years of supervisory experience. Will consider experience in lieu of education. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance. Must pass background check, physical and drug screening.
