Faculty Part-time - Physical Therapy

General Summary of Position:

The Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is searching for part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Teaching opportunities may be available beginning in the Fall 2024 semester. We seek candidates with expertise in orthopedic/musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, acute care, and/or cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):



  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapy License in Massachusetts
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations


Additional Considerations:



  • Candidates with qualifications to teach in more than one area will be given priority
  • Candidates with a DPT or higher degree will be given priority
  • Previous teaching experience at the university/college level is desirable
  • Previous clinical education supervision is desirable
