As a Business Solutions Engineering Manager in IT you oversee the build, maintenance and refinement of high performance, scalable systems through your expertise in development, infrastructure and product discussions from conception to completion. You will foster an environment of agile technologists who imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power. From digital and cloud solutions to original and developing technology products and services, you will address challenges at their core. You will manage a team of engineers that develop products, services and experiences that disrupt markets, generate value and positively impact millions of lives. You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or comparable experience Experience building and maintaining strong business relationships while effectively managing a business product portfolio Fiscal management experience - budgeting, tracking & cost center management You have at least 12 years of software engineering experience with knowledge in 2 or more of the following: Java, .Net, JavaScript, Python, ReactJS, Angular, HTML/CSS, Typescript, VueJS, REST API services, AWS You have at least 5 years of people management experience Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, inspire, and motivate people. Effectively identifying and utilizing the talents and strengths of individuals. Demonstrated ability to assemble high performing agile development teams, creating an environment conducive for growth and development Exhibited characteristics of a life-long learner You have proven experience developing technology roadmaps and cultivating innovative technology solutions You are a technical expert with strong business insight. You are perceived as a leader of software engineering best practice You have extensive technology vendor management experience. You've led technology direction, guidance and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations You adapt programming literacy to match the shifting demands of different outcomes and technologies. You have a passion for driving change and innovation. You introduce innovative ideas that push boundaries and challenge our culture when needed. You apply knowledge of composable architectures, serverless computing and cloud native technologies when developing solutions San Antonio Base Salary Range: $130,398-$208,637 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
