Job Summary
Provide research project support in areas requiring specialized oversight of classified materials. Includes coordination of receipt, handling and general safeguarding of classified materials required in conjunction with project work as well as compliance with applicable regulations This position will interact on a consistent basis with: research lab management and project research personnel. This position typically will advise and counsel: project research personnel. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Review elements of assigned project's scope and plans as related to classified materials requirements.
Job Duty 2 - Pick up, deliver, process, distribute and maintain records of classified materials used in assigned projects.
Job Duty 3 - Identify vendors/service providers and coordinate services relative to classified materials.
Job Duty 4 - Serve as interface for project management with various groups relative to classified materials needs and handling.
Job Duty 5 - Prepare administrative and/or technical documentation and maintain security related database in support of classified materials usage within project parameters.
Job Duty 6 - Monitor project budget(s).
Job Duty 7 - Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience Four to five years of job related experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS This job requires working knowledge and skills in application of specialized classified document control and project management. Additionally, use of office computer applications and specialized databases are required.
